OUTDOORS

The Courtyard

The entire property is one level, centered around a lush walled courtyard that opens to the Sea of Cortez. A saltwater pool anchors the space, surrounded by native palms, flowering desert plants, and natural stone. The courtyard connects the pool, outdoor kitchen, daybed lounge, fire pit, and outdoor dining — everything flows together at ground level, steps from the beach.

& Dining

At ground level with the pool courtyard, the outdoor kitchen is fully equipped with a gas grill, wood-fire grill, and pizza stone oven. An outdoor dining table seats the entire group al fresco among the garden. Cook with ingredients from the local market, grill fresh-caught fish, and dine while the sun sets over the Sierra de la Laguna ridgeline — all without leaving the courtyard.

Built-in fire pit seating invites long evenings half-submerged in the warm pool water, flames low as the sky above turns from gold to deep indigo. THE EXPERIENCE

Self-directed
luxury

Casa Tres Palmas is not a hotel and not a typical rental. There is no front desk, no turn-down service, no scripted itinerary. What there is: a beautifully designed private home, stocked and prepared for your arrival, with local knowledge and support a message away.

This is a place for people who know what they want from a trip — and prefer to find it on their own terms.

Before You Arrive

A personal welcome guide with recommendations for restaurants, provisions, activities, and local logistics — curated, not generic.

During Your Stay

The house is yours. No scheduled check-ins, no interruptions. Local support is always a message away for a recommendation, a reservation, or a hand — but the rhythm of each day is entirely up to you.

TRAVEL

Getting Here

From Los Cabos (SJD)

Casa Tres Palmas is approximately 60 miles north of the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). Most international flights arrive here, making it the primary gateway. The scenic drive north along the coastal highway takes roughly one to one and a half hours.

From La Paz (LAP)

The La Paz International Airport (LAP) is about an hour and a half south of the property. La Paz offers a quieter arrival experience with connections from mainland Mexico and select U.S. cities — a great alternative route in.

Rental Car

A rental car is recommended. While the town of Los Barriles is walkable, the property is located at the edge of town — roughly a five-minute drive from downtown and the walkable commercial areas. A standard sedan works in normal conditions; 4WD is useful in rainy season.
